Current clients may book therapy appointments using the Client Portal
Cancellation Policy
When appointments are made, this time is reserved especially for the client. It is important for me to know well in advance when clients will not be present so I can offer those times to other clients. Since alternative bookings are unlikely at such short notice, full regular fees will be charged for missed appointments and cancellations made with less than 2 business days notice. Be aware that if you typically pay a copayment, your missed appointment fee will be for the total amount of revenue lost, not just one copayment. For most BCBS clients, this amount will be $121.38.
Emergencies include severe illness, car accident, death in the family, or severe weather that causes roads to be impassable. It is your responsibility to resolve work conflicts to make your appointments. If there are issues with childcare, please plan in advance. If bringing your child with you enables you to keep your appointment, there is a small conference room next to my office where your child may play, read, or do homework while you are in session. If you are 20 minutes late for an appointment, this is considered a no show, and you will be charged the missed appointment fee.
To cancel an appointment, please email me: nardo@downtownpsychology.com. My phone ringer is off for much of the day, so email is my preferred mode of communication.
